Regulatory Affairs
CPDA is fully engaged in federal and state pesticide and chemical control policy and regulatory issues, and advocates for equitable, science-based regulations on behalf of its members and the pesticide and chemical industries. CPDA places special emphasis on maintaining regular contact with federal Environmental Protection Agency personnel on a wide range of regulatory topics important to its members, which often involve complex scientific and regulatory issues. Through these relationships and our participation on agency committees and work groups, and submission of comments on proposed agency actions, CPDA seeks to achieve fair and balanced approaches to the regulation of pesticides and other chemicals. These activities may include joint cooperative efforts of CPDA and other interested trade associations and organizations. CPDA encourages its members and visitors to our website to browse and use the statutory and regulatory resources provided by the links below.
