Return to Adjuvant

How can I recommend the use of a CPDA certified adjuvant on my label?

In early 2006, EPA granted permission under PR Notice 98-10 to allow a registrant's labels to recommend the use of certified adjuvants.  A registered pesticide product's label can carry the following statement recommending use of CPDA certified adjuvants:

"When an adjuvant is to be used with this product, [name of the registrant of the pesticide] recommends the use of a Chemical Producers and Distributors Association certified adjuvant."

The EPA approval of this standardized label language provides greater consistency in pesticide labeling for adjuvant use.  This language allows for the clear identification of a product as having been self-certified under CPDA's program.  Click here to read EPA's letter to CPDA on labeling of products recommending the use of a CPDA certified adjuvant.
